A Lone Traveler’s Guide to Getting Through the Airport for the First Time
Travelling alone can be as stressful as it is liberating. Stressing, because you have to go through all the airport security and reach the airport alone, liberating because you’ll finally be on your own and can do what you have always wanted to do, with no one breathing down your neck.
Be mindful of the following tips and before you know it, you will be at your destination:
1. Timely Arrival:
Better start your adventure by arriving at the airport on time, at least 2-3 hours before your flight is scheduled to take-off. Contact BWI limousine service to travel in style and comfort and minimize your chances of getting lost. Once you arrive at the airport, you’ll have plenty of time for clearing and checking in.
2. Bring Something to Pass the Time:
A major part of traveling involves a lot of waiting and having idol time on your hands and unless you are very social, you’ll need something to help you pass the time. So, don’t forget to bring something with you to pass your time; a nice book or two, movies or even your favorite game could help make the clock move faster. If the airport is far away from your house, then you can have a good time in your limo to BWI.
3. Check-in Desk:
The airport is a crowded and noisy place and it is easy to get lost in your surroundings or get confused once you reach there. Instead of panicking, just find a place to sit for a while and look around for your airline’s check-in counter. Then, when the time comes, get in the line and wait your turn.
4. What to Carry:
Make sure you only carry 2 things with you on your limo to BWI; one luggage bag and one carry-on. Also make sure that you keep your ID in your hands at all times.
